Dr. Sidra Irfan is a native of New York. She graduated from Cornell University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Rights and Industrial Labor Relations. Upon graduating undergrad, Dr. Irfan decided to give back to her community by joining the Teach for America Program where she committed to teach science at an under-resourced public school in order to help bridge the educational achievement gap in the country.
After witnessing many of her students and their families struggle with oral health care, Dr. Irfan decided to couple her passion for science and serving others by pursuing a career in dentistry where she could help her community achieve better health.
She continued her education at University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where she was conferred Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). Following graduation, she completed a 1 year General Practice Residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
