Meet the Team

Dee, Practice Manager

Dee grew up in New Philadelphia. She completed the Dental Assisting Program at Buckeye career center and also attended Kent State University. She began working with Dr. Amison in 2010 in his Canton location. After years of assisting and coordinating patient treatment she has continued to grow by becoming the Practice Manager at Wooster Family Dental. Dee has two rescued fur pups Balboa and Nita, in her spare time she enjoys running and working out with her sister.

Cortney, Administrative Leader

Cortney joined our team in 2020. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Social Work from The University of Akron in 2017. She has previous experience in health care. This is helpful when connecting with patients to help them understand steps and treatment needed for excellent oral health. She enjoys being a plant mom and hiking. She currently resides in Wooster with her husband, John.

Suzy, Clinical Leader

Suzy is a native of Holmesville. She attended Wayne County Career Center Dental Assistant program and began working in 2008. Suzy joined our team in 2021. She hopes to one day visit Nova Scotia. Suzy is married to her husband, Jason and has an English Mastiff named, Kane.

Emily, Insurance Coordinator

Emily joined our team in 2022. She has obtained her associates in science for Registered Nursing at North Central State College in Mansfield OH. She enjoys being a dog mom to an English Bulldog, Mabel, and a Husky mix, Duke! She grew up in New Washington OH, but recently moved here in 2020 with her soon to be husband Collin!

Lindsay, Patient Coordinator

Lindsay joined our team in 2022. She has lived in Wooster her whole life. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle and her animals. She has a horse, Bella, a yellow lab, Gunner, and a husky mix, Gracie! In her free time she enjoys camping with her family and spending time outdoors.

Brenda, Patient Coordinator

Brenda joined our team in 2023. She is a 1980 graduate of Chippewa High School and the Wayne County Schools Career Center and has over 40 years of dental experience. Resides in Smithville, with her husband, David and their two rescue dogs. Skippy, a terrier/Jack Russell mix and Gibbs, a chihuahua/ dachshund mix. They have two grown children Melinda and Jeremy, who have blessed them with three grandchildren: Aubrey, Mitchell and Jonathon. In her spare time she likes to read, travel, walk, eat Mexican or Italian, spending time with family and friends.

Jenessa, Hygienist 

Jenessa graduated from Stark State College with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2016.  She has lived in Wooster  her entire life.  Jenessa started with us in 2017 part time.  She officially joined our team full –time in 2018.  In her spare time, Jenessa enjoys traveling, billiards, and spending time with family and friends.  She enjoys being part of a team that is helping patients achieve optimal oral health and seeing people leave with a positive, confident smile.

Hope, Hygienist

Hope joined our team in 2020. She began her dental career in 2015 as a graduate from the Dental Assisting program at the Wayne County Schools Career Center. She went on to further her education and graduated from Stark State College in 2019 with her Dental Hygiene Degree. Hope has lived in Wooster her entire life! She is married to her husband, Nate. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, snowboarding, baseball, and walks with her pup, Hank!

Caitie, Hygienist

Caitie joined our team in 2022. She attended Stark State College where she obtained her degree in dental hygiene. She is married to her husband, Brandon. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Terese, EFDA

Terese is a graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School and joined the dental field in 1997. In 2006, she went on to further her education and graduated from Case Western Reserve University's EFDA program. This allows her to place dental restorations under the supervision of our doctors. Her primary goal is to give her patients confidence by making a difference in their smile. Terese enjoys baking, cooking, entertaining, and working out. Most importantly, she loves spending time with her seven nieces and nephews.

McKenzie, EFDA

McKenzie has been a dental assistant since 2015. She continued her education and graduated from Stark State University Expanded Function Dental Assistant Program. This allows her to place dental restorations under the supervision of our doctor. She has a superb eye for color matching, which is essential in completing fillings. She enjoys spending free time with her husband, Cale, dog, Kash as well as snow boarding.

Kayla, EFDA

Kayla, she is a 2015 graduate of the Stark State College Dental Assisting Program. She enjoys working in the dental field and decided to continue her education at Stark State College to become an EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant). This allows her to place dental restorations under the supervision of our doctors. She hopes to one day go Skydiving. Kayla joined our team in 2021. 

Bre, Assistant

Bre grew up in Stark County and completed her Dental Assisting Certification at the Wayne County Career Center. Bre has been in the medical field since 2019 and has been in the dental field since 2021. She enjoys spending time with her 12 year old daughter, her family, and pets. She loves the beach.
